Our inspiration for this project was our interest in making facial recognition programs. Throughout the development of this project, we learned much more about how to use APIs as well as how artificial intelligence is used in common web applications today. We built our project using the Hume API to measure the human emotion conveyed by the users as well as the OpenAI API to create the chat box in this project. We faced many challenges while making this project which include getting both APIs to work well with each other and understanding API documentation.
Solace
Solace is an AI robot that combines technology such as openai and hume to act as a therapist. By analzying both the words and the emotion of the user, Solace is able to respond accordingly.
