Idea first came to us when we found the Intel Galileo Gen 2 showcase. Although, the Galileo did not have the water sensor, one of our group member had this module for his arduino and luckily he had it on him. We are mostly targeting professionals to obtain data in that field of study. However, this hardware could also be tweaked even further and could be used for general use to help people with plants/organisms that need a constant amount water within the soil. The most key feature that the group put so much effort and time is the ability for the hardware to upload the data to a real-time database for the end user to view.
