We were inspired to build a blood donation website after learning about the shortage of blood and availability of blood at emergencies. To save even a single life from immediate danger of loss of life blood is a precious resource so we wanted to make it easier for people to donate and user-friendly for poeple to come and volunteer to donate blood.

Our website is very user-friendly and it connects donor with nearest blood banks and camps without any difficulty and complexity, like making it easy for people to know about their nearest bloodbank, contact and location on ineractive maps. User can also know about nearby hospitals. we also create awareness among citizens through our website.

We built the website using a variety of technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We created this whole website using Visual Studio Code and Notepad. We also used a number of our customized posters and backgrounds that are used in this website.

Since we were total beginners, we faced problem in many ways from making an input bar through HTML to adding background to the website using CSS. The most problematic part was to set the background image according to screen size i.e. we wanted to make a website which will change according to screen size of different devices but we achieved a decent website which is eye-catching and user-friendly. Using JAVAscript in hyperlinking the buttons to others was something tough but we got motivated to complete it.

We are proud of the work we did on the blood donation website, and we are grateful for the opportunity to help people in need. We learned a lot from this project, and we are excited to continue working on ways to improve the website and make it even more user-friendly

We learned more about HTML, and using CSS for designing our webpage a little more nicely. Learning JAVAscript was a bit of a challenge but we did the basics and completed the our website. Most of important part of all is we learned teamwork and learned more about our lack of knowledge and skills and we grew our skills together in this hackathon.

We would like to have our website get API linked so that we provide live locations of open or closed blood banks and even volunteering donors in case of emegency and availability of blood type. We would like make a full live database of the availability of blood at different blood banks so accordingly blood camps can be organized ahead of time to fullfill the blood requirement at the time incident or emergency.
