Inspiration
What inspired us is that we know people who do not know how to avoid viruses or make good passwords, and this is a problem in society that will need to be fixed during this ongoing time of technological development.
What it does
Students read a series of articles on different topics related to internet security and then answer quizzes for each article. When they answer each quiz correctly, they earn points. After the students earn these points, their profile level up. Students will be able to look at each other's profile to compare their level.
How I built it
We used SourceLair to collaborate with each other and used Github to keep our work synced up. We delegated the jobs that needed to be done in Trello cards so we could claim it easily.
Challenges I ran into
Some challenges we ran into were that our GitHub wouldn't sync, we spent a lot of time thinking of our idea, SourceLair was not working in the beginning, and we had to spend time becoming familiar with the files.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The logo, the articles, the overall look of the site.
What I learned
How to work with source lair and sync projects with GitHub.
What's next for Software Nightmare
Implementing the quizzes and level system, small changes to improve small problems around the site, and making the website look better for mobile.
