Inspiration
We were inspired by companies who are donating their services to enable people and companies in need during the COVID-19 outbreak.
What it does
it's a platform to enable software companies donate their services to those in need.
How we built it
We built it using nuxt.js. It's open source on GitHub.
Challenges we ran into
The challenge is how to curate the most relevant services that benefits donees the most.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
So far many reached out to us to donate their services which makes us very proud, including recognized brands like Typeform, Jotform, CodeAcademy, Hive.com, etc.
What we learned
We learned many tech companies are out there who want to help but they are not sure how, so educating them on how to best donate their services is one of our main goals.
What's next for Software Donation
Launching more causes and categories. Adding more donation to the lists. Making sure enough donees know about our platform to take advantage of donations.
