Inspiration
SofraHub is an Arabic-first marketplace built to help home cooks turn skill into opportunity.
Six weeks ago, it was only an idea. I began building it as a solo founder, with ChatGPT and Codex helping me turn that idea into a working product.
What it does
SofraHub helps home cooks present meals, reach customers, manage listings, and promote their kitchens through one clear experience.
Build Week contribution
During OpenAI Build Week, I used Codex and GPT-5.6 to build and test a secured seller workflow that turns a natural meal description into a structured bilingual draft.
It includes:
- Arabic-first input
- Arabic and English listing content
- price, portions, availability, and allergen validation
- human review
- no automatic publishing
The seller remains in control.
What I learned
AI is most useful when it reduces effort without removing judgment.
What is next
My goal is simple: remove the distance between talent and opportunity.
Six weeks ago, SofraHub was an idea.
Today, it is a working marketplace.
This is only the beginning.
