Inspiration: NYCDOE was just found to be in a Health Education crisis (particularly sex ed).

What it does: Videos educate young people about relationships and human sexuality in a comprehensive, inclusive, and safe environment.

How we built it

The web app is being built with React.js and Google Firebase, Sketch

Challenges we ran into:

Choosing a platform to present this Sex Ed info in a fun and appealing way for young people. Trying to find revenue sources that share our priority to provide quality, comprehensive, inclusive, and affirming Sex Education to teenagers.

Accomplishments that we're proud of:

The fact that we are able to monetize without compromising student safety or providing inaccurate information. We are also proud of our clever site name.

What we learned:

We learned how many different specialists it takes to create a quality product. We all learned a lot about revenue and funding for these sources and how to pitch our ideas to get buy in from buyers.
