Inspiration

Our team aimed to achieve a feasible and reusable mini-project that can serve as a backbone for future projects

What it does

Giga Chad GPT is a prototype chat server allowing users to communicate through IP addresses or even call APIs.

How we built it

With blood, sweat and tears. Our team utilized every minute of the 24 hours allotted to deliver the final work in our disposition.

Challenges we ran into

The completion of the project was very difficult from start to finish. Namely, debugging the incompatibility issues between Operating systems and understanding the usage of Python Sockets were tedious and relentless challenges. We had ideas that we spent hours on just to abandon. Our misadventures led us to having no product by Saturday night. The little amount of ideas we came up with took an all-nighter ever since then. We were in room 203 all night...no sleep at all.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The most significant thing we achieved was our determination to work until the end, no matter the result.

What we learned

Through this challenge, we learned three important lessons: to never give up on your work, to enjoy the time spent working as a team and to learn to move out of your comfort zone and have the courage to challenge yourself to miracles.

What's next for Chad GPT

Polishing, especially as it concerns the GUI and features of the server. Maybe more creative stuff such as admin and moderation powers, storing server history, and maybe file transfer.
