Developing a Society Maintenance App with Flutter and Serverpod

Inspiration

My father worked as a society secretary, and I saw how hard it was to manage daily tasks manually. This inspired me to build a tech solution to make society management easier.

What it does

The app handles most secretary tasks and also helps society members by providing important updates and information in one place.

How we built it

I am building this using Serverpod, which lets me manage both backend and mobile app using Dart. I planned the full flow and features before starting development.

Challenges we ran into

I am comfortable with Flutter, but using Dart for backend development is new for me. Learning a new technology always comes with challenges, but I enjoy that process. Each challenge helped me understand the system better, and I am confident in handling them.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The project is still in progress, but I am proud of the idea and the progress I have made so far.

What we learned

The most important thing I learned is how crucial planning is before execution. A clear plan makes development much smoother. I also gained a strong understanding of Serverpod and how it can be used effectively.
