Inspiration

Our inspiration for SocialPicks stemmed from a collective desire to address multiple social and environmental issues concurrently. We recognized the urgent need to foster sustainable practices in the domains of food wastage, plastic usage, and access to fresh, healthy produce. By amalgamating these concerns into a unified initiative, we aimed to create a multifaceted solution that would promote community engagement and sustainable living.

What it does

SocialPicks serves as an integrated platform that facilitates sustainable living and community empowerment. It allows users to connect with surplus food from local sources, opt for plastic-free products, access fresh farm produce, and seek clarifications on legal matters through JusticePulse. By promoting conscious consumerism and fostering a culture of transparency, SocialPicks endeavors to foster a more sustainable and just society.

How we built it

We built SocialPicks using a combination of robust technology frameworks and agile development methodologies. The project was developed using a variety of programming languages and integrated with user-friendly interfaces to ensure a seamless user experience. We incorporated AI-driven chatbot functionalities for JusticePulse and utilized sophisticated algorithms to streamline the process of connecting surplus food and farm produce.
