Inspiration
Drawing inspiration from lottery pools, we aim to create a similar system powered by Solana.
What it does
SocialBets.sol enables users to create and join betting pools, offering a balance of risk and reward. As more participants join a pool, the chances of winning increase for everyone, but the prize share decreases. Players willing to take higher risks are rewarded with larger potential payouts. As proof every participant mints an NFT.
How we built it
We built our system on the Solana blockchain, while leveraging Metaplex to enhance UX.
Challenges we ran into
Running the project was straightforward, but getting started with development on the blockchain was challenging, especially as a first-time developer on the platform.
