Inspiration

We are constantly traveling from place to place for work, friends and daily life. We take our health very seriously, but during times like these we began to realize that our actions were affecting any loved ones that we came in contact with.

What it does

Gives you a real time update about the potential risk you may have on yourself, a loved one or society.

How I built it

We used MongoDB, Express.js, React and Node.js

Challenges I ran into

This is was our first time bringing the whole project together using webpack. There was a bit a learning curve that slowed down some of the process, but we managed to push through.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We are proud of the overall outcome of the application. It's feels great to see a working lo-fi application that easily gets your vision across.

What I learned

Using frameworks like material-ui with and some industry knowledge can really make difference in the overall look a feel of a product.

What's next for Social Tracker

Develop a more dynamic algorithm for social scores. With the right datasets and SMEs it has the potential to give people an accurate representation of their daily impact.
