Team Greenify Hungers - The Social Strata

Inspiration

People are getting fat and unhealthy due to bad habits in feeding. More and more people are dying with the lack of food in the world. What if we could help people and help ourselves cultivating and sharing the food we produce?

Social Strata aims to bring together producers, landlords, vendors, service providers and consumers on a social platform that facilitates the production, distribution and consumption of healthy foods.

With the proposal in hands, all the information provided and the understanding we had about the challenge, we understood that we could contribute much more with the MyGreenSpace and Michael Moll using all our experience in business development

What it does

We created a business plan and a prototype to demonstrate new funcionalities expanding MyGreenSpace business. Focusing in social responsibility, shared economy, small producers and healthy life.

Social Strata is a platform that serves both urban planting in restricted spaces as family farmers with regular productions. The application allows the sale, exchange and donation of food and services, enabling both direct business between producer and consumer and production sale in a self-regulated market in which the waste is not tolerated, benefiting charities with quality products, without penalizing the production chain.

How we built it

First we understood the actual business, discussed everything we could find and studied about MyGreenSpace.

Then we brainstormed ideas and developed a business plan of the solution Social Strata - Business Model Canvas.

Besides that, we also created a prototype demonstrating the main concept of the mobile app with the possibility to buy or exchange produces. At last, we developed a technical architecture solution robust enough to handle mobile, web and partners integration in the Social Strata platform.

Challenges we ran into

Before the beginning of the challenge, 3 designers abandoned the mission so we had explore our best skills and due to all our experience in business we decided to exceed expectations and creating a whole new platform to change and impact the world.
