Inspiration
With real estate costs becoming vastly unaffordable for the majority of the middle class, investment in the market is largely becoming corporate (with a growing market share of ownership). This platform enables for keeping investment within residential real estate to be largely amongst people looking to invest in real estate with a low buy-in cost.
What it does
It offers a marketplace in which fractional shares of residential real estate can be publicly traded and owned.
How we built it
It utilizes HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
Challenges we ran into
The primary aspect was time, as I ran out of time to deploy this onto firebase to enable users to create posts on the marketplace for them to post. Furthermore, I would've liked to implement the Zillow API for real-time appraisals of properties, along with a better UI for the marketplace itself.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The landing website looks rather nice. I spent too much time on that part.
