Inspiration

Social Distancing is important

What it does

It doesn't actually shake, but in theory it would update your location to a database and shake your phone if anyone with the app was 12 feet or closer, with varying vibrating rates.

How We built it

We used swift for the iOS development as well as firebase for the database and radar.io for the tracking

Challenges I ran into

Downloading all the pods, commiting over github and xcode, and also using the wrong setup for the xcode file.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Getting it all setup and figuring out the basics of swift.

What I learned

I learned about downloading SDK's using cocoapods as well as how swift and storyboards works

What's next for Social Shaker

It actually working, a Home Mode (using geofencing), and also a family/friends list.

I worked on the gps and the xcode, and it was pretty hard to get used to it, but it was fun overall!

Aster the DemiGod
I worked on the front end (creating the webpage) and on the back end (Using XCode and Swift). Since this was my first hackathon, it was a little hard for me to learn Swift and try to get an app in place. Although our app is not fully finished, we have a great idea that can provide a solution to a devastating pandemic, Covid-19.

Hoshita Undella
I worked on the overall code of the project alongside Astee, as well as experimenting with the UIan trying to figure out the errors in the code. Most of the time I was going through the code and adding some lines for the UI.
