Inspiration

We were inspired by apps such as Duolingo and SNapchat with their streak based systems. We have asked our friends why they love these apps so much and why they constantly use them. Their reason being was because their streaks are extremely valuable to them and they can't afford to lose it. This brought us to go for a gamified approach to bring communities together, and at the same time, benefits both the user and the needy. The reason that our project is that this app makes it accessible for literally any age group, and helps to aid anyone, even when we are busy in the midst of work and school.

What it does

What it does is that the user begins with a streak. Every single day, the user has to either make a donation to a charity, reduce the cost of someone's groceries, or feed someone. This makes it accessible for any category of individuals. At the same time, this goes for a gamified approach and motivates the user to do such acts of kindness. If the user misses a day, the streak will be lost.

How we built it

We built the mockups using Canva, since we don't have much experience programming

Challenges we ran into

We ran into problems like finding the right inspiration and finding the right platform to work on. Nonetheless, we have successfully overcome these challenges and obstacles through teamwork and collaboration.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're most definitely proud of the progress we have made as a duo, and its almost flabbergasting how much we were able to achieve with just two people.

What we learned

We have learnt the true difficulty of managing and starting such a project. The amount of work, determination, and passion needed is almost mind-blowing. Without passion, none of this would've been possible at all.
