Our project is a Slack bot that analyzes public messages and DMs to calculate a sentiment score using a natural language processing machine learning model. With that score, the bot responds privately to the sender to give them feedback on how their message comes off in terms of positivity and negativity. The purpose of the bot is to help people grow their confidence in social situations and help them learn social cues.
