Social distancing using Computer Vision

Inspiration

to make a more efficient way for social workers to identify and implement social distancing.

What it does

it uses Open CV to determine whether social distancing is maintained among the general public through CCTV cameras.

How we built it

Using Jupyter notebook and Open CV.

Challenges we ran into

Importing the modules for the program to work (such as Tensorflow).

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we were successfully able to determine the number of violations among the public to decide whether action needs to be taken

What we learned

It's hassle-free to monitor Social-Distancing through Computer Vision rather than a person manually watching over

What's next for Social distancing using Open CV

we can integrate speakers to cameras to give buzzer feedback so we can monitor in real time
