Social Distancing and Face Mask Detection

Due to the current crisis, the entire world is dealing with the COVID-19 issue.

Many people are not wearing masks and also not maintaining any social distance

What it does

We can build and web app which can detect whether persons are maintaining social distance or not whether they wear masks or not in the real-time

How we built it

To solve this, we need a web app that can detect whether a person is maintaining social distance or not, as well as whether they are wearing a mask or not.

Challenges we ran into

Due to the unavailability of GPU, we need to run it on CPU which result in slow processing of the app for that we need to shift to the higher version of yolo so that it can run fast

We Faced various errors while running the program, for that we need to study TensorFlow more deeply which also helps in clearing out the concept

As there are the limited frameworks of python which provide GUI So we face difficulty in creating the GUI

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have successfully created the simple GUI and successfully our program works fine it has appropriate accuracy and models are working fine without any error

What we learned

We took a deep dive into the Deep Learning computer vision section, and so many concepts about that topic became clear. Learned about various frameworks of Deep Learning
