In this pandemic social distance is the most important thing to prevent spreading of the disease. So this project help detecting proper distance between people.

Inspiration

As this pandemic is increasing day by day, it is very important to keep track of distancing between people to lower the impact of this disease.

What it does

It detects whether everyone is maintaining proper disatancing and there should be no crowd or anything that spreads this disease.

How we built it

We buit it using python programming language, using opencv module.

Challenges we ran into

Most challenges we faced are: how to impliment it on a large scale, where there is large no of people.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Firstly, we are proud that we made a project for social cause, secondly we will use an external camera to detect and cover large no of area.

What we learned

We learnt how to use python programming on real world stuff, how to detect a large no. of people from a single module

What's next for Social Distance Detection

Integrate face mask detection with this project to increase the efficiency of this project, to help people make more safe.
