Inspiration

Social Ai Agent was inspired by small businesses that sell through social platforms but have to jump between comments, DMs, product photos, customer notes, and payment tools. The goal was to create one workspace where social engagement can turn into real sales without losing context.

What it does

Social Ai Agent is a social commerce command center. It helps businesses connect platforms like WhatsApp, TikTok, YouTube, Telegram, Facebook, and Instagram, manage conversations, track leads, upload product media, use AI-assisted replies, and handle monthly subscription access from one dashboard.

How I built it

I built the app with a Python stack using Streamlit for the operator dashboard and FastAPI for backend APIs, integrations, webhooks, uploads, and billing flows. The workspace includes product memory, media management, live chat, analytics, platform connection tools, and AI reply support with a fallback mode when AI keys are unavailable.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was bringing many moving parts into one clear workflow: social platform connections, OAuth credentials, uploaded media, conversations, AI responses, billing providers, and subscription gating. Another challenge was designing the dashboard so users can inspect the workspace, understand the value quickly, and then activate billing when they are ready.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I are proud of turning the idea into a working social commerce OS with a real dashboard, multi-platform structure, product memory, media uploads, AI-assisted replies, live chat flows, billing setup, and deployment readiness checks. The app now feels like a practical workspace for operators, sales teams, and social storefronts.

What I learned

I learned that social selling is not just about posting content. Businesses need context, fast replies, product knowledge, organized media, and a way to move from attention to payment. I also learned how important it is to keep complex backend features simple and visible in the user interface.

What's next for Social Ai Agent

Next, I want to improve live platform integrations, strengthen AI product recommendations, add richer automation for follow-ups, expand analytics, and keep polishing the billing and onboarding experience. The long-term goal is to help small businesses connect, sell, reply, and bill from one workspace.
