Inspiration

Washing hands is boring, so we want to make something that is an ordinary task, fun!

What it does

It plays music while you washes your hands and ensures you ARE actually washing them for the appropriate amount of time.

How we built it

We put together a bunch of different components and learned how to use the ESP32 (for the first time) and with some code almost got it to run.

Challenges we ran into

Our code would not download because the ESP32 would not detect it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made the entire circuit and found solutions to problems including different voltages on certain components that were not compatible with the ESP32 we had.

What we learned

How to use an ESP32 and find work arounds even when we face drawbacks (as we learned through the voltage things).

What's next for Soap Symphony

Improve the code and integrate a dashboard with a game that encourages younger kids to willingly have fun washing their hands.
