SnipSnap

Inspiration

We wanted a fun, creative way to save memories beyond a basic camera roll. Scrapbooks felt meaningful, but physical ones take time, so we created a digital version that’s easy, personal, and expressive.

What it does

SnipSnap lets users create custom digital scrapbooks and collages, edit individual photos, add music, personalize layouts, and share their creations with friends or on social media.

How we built it

We designed the UI with creativity in mind, taking inspiration from apps like Pinterest. We developed core features such as drag-and-drop layouts, multiselect photo tools, photo editing, and undo/redo functionality based on mentor feedback.

Challenges we ran into

We struggled with balancing creative freedom and ease of use, deciding which features to prioritize, and making photo editing and layout tools feel intuitive without overwhelming the user.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of creating a clean, user-friendly interface and implementing features like multiselect, individual photo editing, and history tracking that make the app feel polished and flexible.
