Game
The game is a relaxing casual puzzle game that should be a very nice VR experience. The puzzle has unlimited possibility's to form ever complexer levels.

Goal
The goal of the game is to get the ball(s) to the same color block(s) by building / sliding out other blocks and some corners. This is controlled only by moving the "cursor" with your head. We plan to focus on a very intuitive interaction-menu that offers a lot of options but is still easy to use with the gaze of the Gear.

We think the puzzle itself is unique and the VR dimension really ads in solving the puzzle "from all angles".

Player interaction
This game is a pure eyesight game in which the player can relax and sit. The only slight movement in-game comes when a player changes his position to get a better look at the situation. We chose this setup to reduce the chance of motion sickness. We find that a dark environment creates a relaxed an comfortable view.

Type of bricks

  • BasicBrick, the building block in the game
  • GroundBrick, the lowest layer foundation, these are basic bricks that cannot be removed
  • BouncingBall, the ball which bounces in the game.
  • CornerBrick, changes the direction of the ball
  • BlockingBrick (black), blocks the ball path. In principle the same as a Basicbrick, but with no interaction. It can not be destroyed.

Levels

  • We hope to offer some 20 levels; from easy to hard.

Todo list Before term 4 we want to apply the following updates:

  • Upgrade of some visual aspects, like the corners
  • When a Ball leaves the borders of the board, the level is reset.
  • Make it so that you cannot remove a ground brick
  • You can’t build outside the boundary
  • Minor bug fix in corner direction
  • Add sounds & music

    We have new pictures of our puzzle in space. We have also made a video of our work in progress; still much work left to do.
