Inspiration

We wanted a fast, no fuss way to save and retrieve reusable snippets, text, links, and code, without digging through Notes apps or old chat threads. Existing clipboard managers felt cluttered, so we built something focused on speed: search, tap, copy, done.

What it does

SnapStash lets you save any text, link, or code snippet, auto detects its type, and organizes it into folders and tags. The search bar filters results instantly as you type, and tapping any saved item copies it to your clipboard immediately, no extra taps.

Free users get 20 snippets and 1 folder. Premium unlocks unlimited snippets, unlimited folders, and cloud sync, powered by RevenueCat, with Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime purchase options.

How we built it

We used Replit's AI app builder to scaffold the app in React Native/Expo, then integrated the RevenueCat SDK for subscription management, wiring up entitlements, a custom offering with three pricing tiers, and a native paywall built with RevenueCat's visual paywall editor.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the RevenueCat SDK properly linked to Metro's bundler took some debugging, and the app's icon library wasn't loading correctly at first, causing broken glyphs across the UI. Both were fixed along the way. We also iterated on the app's visual design to move away from generic AI generated defaults toward something with a more distinct identity.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Going from an idea to a working app with a fully wired subscription flow, entitlements, and a published paywall, all within the Shipaton window. We're especially proud of the design pass that gave SnapStash a distinct visual identity instead of a generic template look.

What we learned

This was our first time wiring a real subscription/paywall flow end to end, from RevenueCat's dashboard configuration to entitlement checks in the app itself.

What's next for SnapStash

Cloud sync (iCloud/Google Drive), smarter auto tagging, and expanding to more platforms.
