The idea came from everyday friction. I was tired of losing social posts with outfits I liked and having no easy way to find those items again. I also wanted to remove the annoying multi-step process of screenshotting QR codes just to open a simple link.
SnapShot analyzes your screenshots and understands what’s on your screen. It then gives you instant, useful actions such as finding clothes, opening links, saving recipes, or drafting emails, with more features within itself. We also kept it simple for a better user experience.
We first put in prompts that came into our heads on AI Studios to improve the app, but it changed other features and was not very optimal. We then described our ideas to ChatGPT and told it to give us a prompt for AI Studios, which delivered great results. ` We're proud of the number of features we put into this that feels like a natural extension of small tasks or actions that would help the user.
We want to implement a personalization feature where the AI learns from user preferences overtime. This can affect recipe preferences, writing style for emails, clothing preferences and more.
The project can be much further refined, with AI textboxes and visuals. When we tried it using AI Studios, we came across alot of issues, so we did not go forward with it and kept it simple and effective instead.
Features that could be added include AI textboxes for further searching (eg. black clothes or healthier options on recipes).
