Inspiration
That was a Saturday morning, multiple plans lined up, 4 of my friends waiting in the car starving. I went inside this popular store to bring a few snacks, the carts are unattainable, I had become an overloaded human carrying snacks over hands, at the same time the billing counter was terrifyingly queued, I had to wait for more than an hour complying with the COVID restrictions.
Being an Engineering, I have this dream to make the stores run with no carts and no queues, making stores a place where customers love coming back.
What it does
On Oauth authentication from the seller, the store can use the application to create a no cart and no queue store. The customers visiting the store can open this application
Scan the product's UPC (barcode) Set the quality and add it to the virtual cart Complete the Payment online and take away the products from the seller
How we built it
We leveraged the square SDK and APIs, the application is built with React, Redux, and Node.js
