Inspiration

After 15+ years leading mortgage and real estate teams, I saw a consistent problem: people have goals, but no system to stay emotionally connected to them. They fall off after a few good days, then beat themselves up for “not being motivated.” That’s broken.

SnappyAI was built to fix that. It gives high-performing professionals a daily accountability coach in their pocket — one that tracks habits, celebrates wins, and checks in like a drill sergeant with a heart. It’s performance meets personality.

What it does

SnappyAI helps users stack 7 daily wins across four categories: Mind, Body, Soul, and Income-Producing Activities. Users track progress, join group leaderboards, compete in meme-driven daily contests, and check in with “HANK,” our AI-powered accountability coach.

Features include:

• Main Dashboard (daily win tracking + snapshot)
• Winner’s Circle (daily meme contest w/ upvoting)
• Daily Tasks (habit checklist w/ smart streak logic)
• Happy Hour (real-time chat w/ name + location)
• Fire Talks (TED-style inspiration uploads)
• The Garden (daily updates, prompts, and news)
• Analytics (habit tracking, streaks, and GCI-style performance stats)

How we built it

• Frontend: Built entirely in Bolt.new using modular UI components
• Backend: Supabase for auth, database, file storage, real-time updates, and RLS
• AI Stack: OpenAI GPT-4o + ElevenLabs for voice-based accountability coaching
• Design Philosophy: Jesse Itzler x David Goggins — tough love, clean UI, dopamine-driven

Challenges we ran into

• Recursive RLS policies in Supabase (surprisingly hard to untangle without breaking permissions)
• Clerk + Supabase integration with Bolt.new (multiple tokens and edge cases)
• Giving HANK a personality that was motivating, not robotic or cringe
• Making sure users actually engaged daily — solved by gamification + meme culture

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Shipped a fully working real-time accountability platform in a few weeks
• Created a lovable, no-fluff AI personality that actually makes people move
• Built a working ecosystem that blends AI, community, habit tracking, and content in one place
• Made performance fun again

What we learned

• Personality is a cheat code — people engage more with tools that feel human
• Users crave simplicity, but building it requires wrestling with a lot of complexity behind the scenes
• Real estate pros are competitive — leaderboards and streaks hit harder than expected
• Shipping fast with the right constraints (Bolt.new + Supabase) can outperform months of planning

• Launch into the real estate and loan officer verticals
• Add sponsor-branded daily contests
• Expand HANK's voice library with user-generated responses and tone packs
• Native mobile app wrapper + push notifications
• Add AI-driven daily recaps + performance nudges
