About the Project

Inspiration

The inspiration behind our fitness app, Snapout, came from a shared passion for promoting healthy lifestyles and empowering individuals to take control of their fitness journeys.

What We Learned

Throughout the development of Snapout, we learned invaluable lessons about the importance of user-centric design and the significance of data-driven insights in delivering an exceptional user experience.

How We Built It

Snapout was built using a combination of cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices. We utilized Next.js for the frontend development, leveraging its component-based architecture to create a seamless and intuitive user interface. For the backend, we implemented a RESTful API using Node.js and connected it.

Challenges Faced

Building Snapout presented several challenges that pushed us to expand our technical skills and problem-solving abilities. One significant challenge was developing an algorithm that accurately calculates BMI and BMR while ensuring privacy and data security.

Overall, the journey of creating FitX has been incredibly rewarding. We are proud to have developed a fitness app that promotes healthy living, doing gym etc.
