Inspiration
We wanted to create a unique tool usable by large numbers of people to optimize their time
What it does
This helps users pick the right clothes by allowing them to virtually try on clothes and visualize it on themself and with other items in their closet
How we built it
We built this with a flask backend, react front end, and mongodb as the database. We used multiple APIs including the Gemini and Auth0
Challenges we ran into
We ran into challenges with the ability of the Gemini API, Imagen 3, to produce photorealistic images of specific people. We leveraged its power to create the body correctly and swapped the faces using openCV.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This was our first time using REACT, MONGODB, the GEMINI API, and OPENCV
What we learned
We learned about fullstack development and how to optimize existing models for our use case.
What's next for Snapfit
We would like to recommend other products and extend its usage beyond amazon. We can also monetize using affiliate links and improve its security.
