SnapAR Lens

Inspiration

The improv warmup game Shakedown aka Crazy Eights - which I have always found to be a great way to shake anxiety off.

What it does

Tracks your body and launches special effects when you trigger the shakedown warmups.

How I built it

Using Lens Studio and Snapchat AR Documentation

Challenges I ran into

My initial plan was to include VoiceML features and start the filter using keyword detection - but I couldn't get my custom model to work with the code on the rest of the triggers.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Building my first ever Snap AR Lens; understanding how body tracking works on Snap Studio! Experimenting with physics of objects in augmented reality!

What we learned

A lot about materials in augmented reality! I especially loved experimenting with the plethora of templates available on teh Studio.

What's next for SnapAR Lens
