Snap 311 endeavors to make reporting problems to New York City as easy as possible. Just snap a picture with your mobile device, and email it to us. We’ll do the rest!

Snap311 uses the geolocational data stored in pictures taken by some mobile devices (e.g. iPhone) to automatically determine where a picture was taken.  Once we’ve identified the location of a problem, we automatically submit the issue to the city for remediation.  By downloading the 311 data feed from the Data Mine, we track submitted issues, and automatically inform the person who reported the problem when their issue has been resolved.
