Inspiration
Learning math can be difficult, especially for younger children, so what better way to encourage learning than to make it fun! This game is our take on a classic snake game but with an educational twist.
What it does
It gives the user a math equation, and the user is then supposed to navigate the snake to the correct answer. Every correct answer the snake eats, the longer it gets. The game ends once the snake runs into itself.
How we built it
We used replit to write and share code with each other. We also imported turtle to help with drawing characters.
Challenges we ran into
The code remained unfinished due to our lack of expertise in coding with turtle.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We came together as team and came up with an exciting idea we were all passionate about.
What we learned
We learned important collaboration skills in order to effectively complete this assignment together. We also learned technical skills such as turtle. Additionally, we also learned more about the design process as we had to brainstorm ideas and execute them in a given amount of time.
What's next for Snakes and Numbers
In the future, we hope to get the game running accurately and effectively. Then, we can make it available on the web for the general public to use.
