Inspiration
The inspiration for our Snake Game comes from the nostalgia of classic arcade games and the desire to recreate that simple yet addictive gameplay experience in a modern context.
What it does
Our Snake Game allows players to control a snake that grows longer as it eats food, with the objective of surviving as long as possible without colliding with itself or the walls. It features intuitive controls, dynamic difficulty levels, and engaging visuals for an immersive gaming experience.
How we built it
We built the Snake Game using python and github copilot
Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges we faced was implementing smooth and responsive controls for the snake movement while ensuring collision detection with food and boundaries. Optimizing the performance for rendering graphics on the Canvas was also a significant hurdle that we had to overcome.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of successfully recreating the classic Snake Game in command line
What we learned
Throughout the development process, we used github co-pilot (as per the task)
What's next for Snake-Game
In the future, we plan to introduce additional features and enhancements to elevate the gameplay experience. Some of our planned updates include integrating sound effects, implementing power-ups, and adding multiplayer functionality for competitive gaming.
