Inspiration

My team and I are power-users of the product we're building. 2023 was the year of the LLM. 2024 will be the year of onboarding the next 1B MAU to LLMs. We see a gold-rush and want to provide the pickaxes to SMB owners to better leverage LLMs.

We've been in constant contact with our community, understanding the real problems that SMBs are facing while trying to adopt AI in their businesses. We are committed to solving these real problems, opposed to building in a vacuum.

In addition to our web-facing product, we launched several plugins in the chrome store as prototypes for our enterprise product, amassing nearly 30k plugin users and gaining feedback needed to build our enterprise product.

What it does

Snack Prompt is building a single platform to aggregate multiple LLMs into a very user-friendly dashboard. Our product is designed for the next billion consumers of AI productivity tools. Our enterprise tool will make SMB employees better and owners happier.

We've been in constant contact with our community, understanding the real problems that SMBs are facing while trying to adopt AI in their businesses. We are committed to solving these real problems, opposed to building in a vacuum.

How we built it

We started hacking on this project at the start of 2023. By April 2023, we saw promising results and went full-time. All members of the team are full-time.

Today, we stand with a team of 7, working full time, having crafted a leading prompt discovery tool and the third most popular AI newsletter globally.

As we stand on the cusp of launching our enterprise product, we aim to transition our current user base while attracting SMBs as enterprise customers.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges we faced include the rapid evolution of LLMs, which can be overwhelming for a startup to keep pace with. To address this, we pivoted our product design to serve as a complementary tool to LLMs, ensuring it remains agnostic. This change has made it easier for teams to collaborate, govern, and utilize AI prompts effectively and collaboratively.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We've acquired 1.3 million unique visitors, 30,000,000 prompts opened on our platform, with 70k~ monthly returning users, and spent $0 on performance marketing.

Our growth has mainly been organic and driven by word of mouth. The consumer-oriented features of Snack Prompt, including our web app, chrome extensions, and newsletter, have attracted businesses by showcasing the platform's value, thus creating demand for our enterprise offering.

Currently, our consumer platform maintains 70k~ MAU, and our daily newsletter has over 220k daily readers.

What we learned

90% of companies have not adopted LLMs (AI) due to the lack of control and governance. We are here to fix that.

We will launch our enterprise product in Q3

With development progressing, we are now refocusing our efforts on closing the remaining portion of the round ahead of the enterprise launch.
