Inspiration

Social media-savvy Gen Z snack a lot. They want better snacks that can make it to the 'Gram but it is complicated to buy from small online snack brands who have limited retail experience except for a passion in making food.

What it does

Snacc is a snack supermarket platform offering a curated selection of the most Insta-worthy nibbles and bites from up-and-coming home chefs, bakers, indie snack brands.

How we built it

We will experiment with the model by launching a low-code marketplace website and are also building an app on iOS & Android. We are using Firebase as our back-end for the applications, using Google Maps API for location and tracking, using Google OAuth for authentication, Google Analytics for strategic planning and understanding while deployed and plan to use Google Cloud completely once we are out of the 1st phase deployment process cycle.

Challenges we ran into

We wanted to find out how much customer demand there will be for this kind of snack platform and decided to run a survey! Luckily a lot of people seem to buy this idea!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to apply GenZ lingo and developing a platform + app in such short time span!!
