Description

• Adapted Google Maps Api to similuate a virtual environment on web browser
• Utilized visualized Google Search Engine to place your self anywhere you want
• Illustrated smog on a web page
• Displayed street views provided by Google Maps
• Applied face recognition to detect smily face

Usage or Goal

• Allow other people to have a sense of smog
• Understand the crucial problem of smog existing in China cities
• Alert people about the importance of preserving our environment

BUILD/INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

• You need to have installed npm, ruby, compass and grunt as well.
• Go into the ssmog directory, and do npm install, followed by grunt.
• Open firefox and direct to http://localhost:8000/ssmog/static/index.html.
• Have fun!
