Our Project - Smile, where every transaction leaves you smiling.

Inspiration

We wanted to create a cryptocurrency that brings joy and positivity to the blockchain ecosystem, hence the name Smile. :joy:

What it does

Smile is a meme coin aiming to enhance the tracking of cryptocurrencies by considering both losses and gains. The concept is inspired by the portfolio tool of CoinMarketCap, with the goal of making it user-friendly. Additionally, we are currently considering a system to scan tokens, which will take the form of a score assigned to the token to provide quick information about liquidity, vesting time, and lock-up period. The idea is to limit scams, as many users have fallen victim due to a lack of information. Therefore, the aim is to make information accessible.

How we built it

We're currently grappling with the learning curve of Solidity and the deployment of smart contracts, among other things. As we're still in the learning phase, it's worth mentioning that there are two of us on the team: one specializing in AI development and the other in Full Stack development. Despite lacking prior experience in blockchain languages, our enthusiasm for learning is boundless. Balancing full-time jobs or studies, we dedicate our free time to honing our skills, aiming to deliver the initial tools of our project.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered several challenges throughout the development process, including understanding Solidity and blockchain concepts in-depth.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We've initiated the development of our community, already boasting over 50 members across Telegram and Twitter. Moreover, we've successfully launched our website using React, paving the way for hosting our forthcoming tools.

What we learned

Initially, after meticulously going through every page of the Venom documentation, we delved into understanding the intricacies of your blockchain. This involved learning how to deploy our first smart contract and integrate our smart contracts into React.

What's next for Smile

Our next milestone is deploying our first application, which will be the portfolio. We're ambitious, and we firmly believe that perseverance pays off.
