a.k.a. Stock Market Hack

Only 10% of hedge fund managers use social media trends to help predict stock market prices.

We want to know if they should use it more. For the sake of our own research, we want to know if there's a correlation between the frequency of certain hashtags and stock prices. If there is a correlation, could certain hashtags be used to predict changes in stock market prices? If it turns out this works (stock prices can be predicted by hashtags), maybe we'll let those hedge fund managers use it.
