Inspiration

n8n automations are increasing rapidly, and small businesses finally have a way to compete with enterprise companies and their huge customer service departments. But there is no way for non-technical small businesses to easily view their automation's actions and have some degree of control.

What it does

Creates a dashboard around your n8n automation voice agent. Allows you to go through past calls, receive AI suggestions, and perform quick actions.

How we built it

We started with idea development on GPT, moved to rapid prototyping on v0. Got a mock voice agent running on n8n with vapi. Linked the dashboard to the n8n automation and the backend airtable database.

Challenges we ran into

Vapi and n8n integration was a bit of a struggle. Had to simplify our voice agent quite a bit. Integrating the backend database into our dashboard also proved to be a bit challenging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got a clean dashboard that anyone, tech or non-tech, can start using. We built out the infra for something even bigger. This was just a hackathon project, but we're very excited to take this even further.

What we learned

We learned to use n8n, and really want free n8n so we can keep using it. We learned how to think in the shoes of our user and build a UI that doesn't just look good, but actually works for the user. Owners of taco shops, beauty salons, and other local SMBs can finally take full advantage of AI.
