Inspiration
What it does
Jump and dodge your way up to your company's corrupt CEO and give him a taste of his own medicine! (Watch out for the filing cabinets and swivel chairs though)
How we built it
We built it with Unity and created assets in Clip Studio Paint and Krita.
Challenges we ran into
Character design was a challenge because we wanted to create a contrast between a dark, corporate world and a determined and bright businesswoman. We also had issues with sprites not colliding and clipping through walls.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We went much farther than we thought we did, such as creating a 2 phase boss fight, accelerating enemies and changing scenes.
What we learned
We all learned Unity in a few hours and applied our knowledge to a game.
What's next for Smash the Ceiling
Adding combat, more levels, different enemies, and better ways to fight back
