What's next for SmartStock AI
Inspiration
Many small and medium-sized businesses struggle with manual inventory tracking, leading to stockouts, misplaced items, or inaccurate sales data. We wanted to build a modern, intelligent solution that simplifies these workflows, making inventory and sales management completely seamless through automation.
What it does
SmartStock AI is a multi-tenant platform designed to handle sales, stock levels, and client relationships. It automatically tracks product movements, alerts business owners when stock is low, and generates insightful reports to help optimize sales strategy.
How we built it
The platform is built with a highly responsive cross-platform frontend to ensure accessibility across devices. The backend leverages secure, real-time database architecture and cloud management systems to handle multi-tenant structures efficiently. We integrated AI agents to analyze sales patterns and automate stock forecasting.
Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges was designing an optimized database schema that allows separate tenants to access their data securely without cross-contamination, while keeping real-time synchronizations efficient. Overcoming state management complexities across different sales and stock modules was also a great learning experience.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully implemented a fully functional, beautiful user interface with smooth data rendering, and a robust architecture capable of scaling to support multiple business accounts seamlessly.
What we learned
We gained deeper insights into structuring multi-tenant software architectures and learned how to properly coordinate frontend flows with automated background workflows.
