Inspiration

When my father goes out to do grocery shopping, he would come home with everything and he would look in the fridge and see that the milk is expiring tomorrow and he would have to make another trip to the grocery store and this would end up wasting his time more. I thought it would be easier for an app to keep track of all of these expiration dates.

What it does

This app will keep track of all the food items in your refrigerator, keep track of the expiration dates, and tell you how long you have until the food item expires.

How we built it

We built the backend using Flask and Python. We built the frontend using React.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges when we tried pressing the button and there wouldn't be a table to retrieve the information from. We tried storing data in MongoDB but that wasn't working
