Inspiration

Local stores like Jai Maa are essential to communities, but their shopping experience is still manual and time-consuming. Customers often struggle to find the right products quickly.

We were inspired to bridge this gap by combining traditional retail with AI, making local shopping smarter, faster, and more intuitive.

What it does

SmartKart AI transforms local stores like Jai Maa into intelligent web stores.

Instead of browsing through products, users can simply ask what they need and get instant, personalized product recommendations based on their needs and budget.

How we built it

Built the frontend using React and Vite

Designed a modern UI using Tailwind CSS

Structured products into categories and sections

Created an AI chatbot that simulates smart recommendations

Added features like:

Product tags (Hot, Essential, In Stock)
