Inspiration

Increasing electrical bills increase the pressure on the household budget, family financial security, and stability in the future. Selectro will maximize the benefit of the free energy market, save household money on electrical bills and increase the overall efficiency of electricity consumption as a resource.

What it does

Selectro is a smart electricity management system selecting the cheapest price for you. It consists of a chargeable battery and software system that reads real-time Nord Pool electricity prices and charges when the price is the lowest. Accumulated energy is then used to provide electricity for household daily activities. Additionally, you can connect solar panels to it and use it in reverse - by selling produced electricity to the market when the price is the highest to maximize revenue.

How we built it

We have built a concept, web page and mobile app mockup. Technical and software solutions still need to be built.

What's next for Selectro

Our future plans are to continue develop our product and software, get the product ready, launch marketing and sales, conquer local market and then look for other markets using Nordpool.
