We represented what we thought the most important rooms of a house, and applied technology to make it smarter and efficient for everyone. We focused on solving problems like: energy saving routines and a house that could fit the necessities of everyone (people with different abilities or older people). We applied or knowledge in microcontrollers, sensors, robotics, electronics, programming and IoT.
The first room we created was the bedroom. It has an automatic door and an easy-to-get-clothes system. The second room was the living room. It can measure the temperature and decide weather to open the windows or turn de AC or the heat on. The third room was a restroom, where the lights are turned on and off automatically, depending on the presence of a person.
