Inspiration
Due to the pandemic, people were forced to go into lockdown. So farmers had no way to keep taking care of their farms such as watering their plants thus it lead to hunger, depression and stress. So I wanted to create a solution.
What it does
SmartHinga is an Automated Agriculture Monitoring System that helps farmers to monitor and supervise their farms wherever they are around the world.
How I built it
I designed an interactive mockup using Figma.
Challenges I ran into
Lack of enough experience in mobile design.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
. With just a little experience I was able to learn new software and it was still rewarding to see a few pages working.
. I successfully interviewed some farmers in my village to hear more about their challenges during this pandemic.
What I learned
I learned more about Prototyping in Figma.
What's next for SmartHinga
In the future, I want to make SmartHinga an actual app using Django, React, and View and publish it for public use.
