Inspiration

In today’s fast-paced world, data is everywhere—but insight is rare. We noticed that many creators, marketers, educators, and researchers rely heavily on survey tools like Google Forms, Typeform, or Microsoft Forms to gather feedback or conduct research. However, turning that raw data into visual, engaging content like infographics or slide decks takes hours—sometimes days. We thought: What if that process was instant? That’s where SmartForm was born.

What it does SmartForm is an Adobe Express Add-on prototype that automatically converts any survey form URL into beautiful:

Whether you're a marketer pitching insights, a teacher summarizing class feedback, or a startup visualizing user research, SmartForm helps you skip the manual design process and focus on storytelling.

How we built it

We built a prototype that:

Accepts a form link (from supported platforms like Google Forms, Typeform).

Parses and understands the structure (question types, logic, intent).

Uses pre-trained templates inside Adobe Express to auto-generate creative assets (infographics, slides, posters).

Allows quick customization via Express’s native tools.

We used the Adobe Express SDK playground to simulate the add-on and understand integration capabilities.

Challenges we ran into

🚧 Parsing form data from different platforms with consistent accuracy.

🧩 Mapping data structure to creative formats (How do you design a pie chart for a multiple-choice question?).

📦 Working within the Express SDK playground’s environment without full access to user forms or real data.

⌛ Managing scope—balancing ambitious features with a functional, clear proof-of-concept.
