Inspiration

There are many smart door devices, but there are none that are quite as simple as simply walking up to your door. We drew inspiration from the iPhone face unlocking feature and applied it to your home.

What it does

Recognizes faces based on pre-entered users. If user is recognized, unlocks door.

How we built it

Using OpenCV and python.

Challenges we ran into

The raspberry pi was overheating, but using a heatsink we managed to control the heat dissipation better.
