Inspiration

Communities are increasingly becoming micro-economies. They tend to use all social media groups but get lost, we thought of building a micro e-commerce platform centric to communities where homemakers or any community members can list their business and start managing orders in a community maket place platform.

What it does

It provides a listing of all services in the community, in additional to certain utilities like community Carpooling, Chatrooms, forums etc.

How I built it

Python based custom server, aws dynamo, javascript webpack.

Challenges I ran into

Finding developers and testers, i had to fight alone building it.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I released an opensource version of DynamoDb ORM which i wrote while working on this project.

What I learned.

What's next for SmartCommunity

Capturing workplace networks where employees can list micro services other employees can use.
